The Lost knowledge

Many of our ancient knowledge was lost in time and were to be rediscovered.

Take the story of the Puri temple, which was decorated all around the walls with wonderful sculptures; but had to be covered with mortar to prevent it from the vicious demon Kala Pahar.

Kala Pahar was aggressive to capture the Famous Puri temple to loot its bounty and demolish the beautiful Mandir containing architectural marvel. The Raja of Puri decided to cover the temple and all its parts so that the devil could not discover the beautiful temple.

Similarly, many of our valuable knowledge was kept undistributed, in fear of the knowledge going into the hands of unwise people, who may misuse the knowledge.

As a result of such a precaution, slowly people lost interest in pursuing the knowledge which had become very difficult to acquire. Slowly, the knowledge was lost along with the passing away of the gurus who were the custodians.

The knowledge was left in the scriptures which were in complicated literature with many meanings but only one true meaning. Due to the void created and the ignorance of the new generation it became almost impossible to rediscover the true meaning.

Thirst of man is relentless. Hence, he once again started to study the scriptures and tried to find out the lost knowledge to answer the eternal question 'Who am I?', 'Where from have I come?' and 'Where will I go after?'

Obviously, there was a vacuum in the knowledge pool but man has regained the lost knowledge and found out many paths to the ultimate truth.

Many myths that were the part of the old teachings for whatever reasons, were busted and the knowledge now has become more lucid to the desirous souls.
